Invitation to contribute
Existing entries in the Time Atlas can now be edited, which means that the accuracy of its content can be managed in a much easier way by modifying entries (rather than going manually into the database for changes). I now invite everyone interested in history and culture to join as a volunteer contributor of information. Once you are registered as a contributor (with username and password) you can not only add new entries but also amend existing entries. To receive your username and password email me. My email link is on the website.

Progress report
I returned to my life as an oceanographer for three months, teaching students of the Sea Education Association in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, USA, and sailing on the research sailing ship Robert C. Seamans (a 38 m brigantine) from Hawaii to Tahiti. I am now back for Civilizations of the World, where there has been some progress: Event entries now work correctly, and the site is ready for major input.
Nitin and I are now working on the facility to edit existing items. This should not take very long. I am also looking for civilization experts to establish an editorial board.
